Studying a genus of day geckos in the Indian Ocean islands.
Her interests revolve around how and why species are distributed where they are (biogeography), genetic diversity in island populations; how, when and what factors enable species to diversify? (macroevolutionary patterns) and how do closely related species co-exist without removing the other? (evolutionary ecology).

Post-Doctoral Fellow
Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science
PhD in Biological Sciences, National University of Singapore (NUS).
His research is focused on aspects of animal behaviour, ecology, and conservation within diverse taxa. His most recent work has been on amphibians and has discovered novel behaviour and species.

Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS)
Curates herpetofauna specimens and digitization of the collection as well as various biodiversity studies conducted by BNHS across the country. Uses historical data to address data gaps for lesser-known reptiles and amphibians.
