  • Identify planting spots that will ensure plenty of morning sunlight for the plants and tree shade
  • Plant butterfly host and nectar saplings in selected spots
  • Water plants
  • Learn to identify butterflies
  • Observe and collect data in datasheets during their lunch hour and free time
  • Record the findings on a laptop/computer
  • Upload their findings to www.indiabiodiversity.org

Orientation session
  • Provide expertise in setting up the butterfly garden.
  • Supervise the garden and data on weekly basis after the set up.

  • Networking opportunities for children

MADHUSUDHAN SHUKLA

 
Madhusudhan Shukla is a passionate and experienced environmental educator. He mainly works with children and young adults.
He has held key positions at the Rotaract and Rotary Club and been an Award Leader and Assessor for The International Award for Young People (IAYP-India).
He has worked on environment awareness and action-oriented projects with TERI(The Energy and Resources Institute). He has undertaken biodiversity courses at Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) and iNaturewatch Foundation.
Madhusudhan enjoys converting his valuable learning into actionable educative material to create awareness, sensitivity and a positive attitude towards the environment among people.
